Early evening Virginia:  End Gerrymandering (OneVirginia2021), 5-6pm,  Lorton Library, 9520 Richmond Hwy, Lorton, VA 22079. The next 10 months will be crucial in the fight to end Gerrymandering in the Commonwealth!  Please join us for an hour long presentation on fair redistricting reform.  A volunteer from OneVirginia2021 will provide an update on efforts to end Gerrymandering in Virginia and the United States.  They will also explain how OneVirginia2021 is leading the way to bring fair redistricting reform to Virginia and explore all the ways that you can help! Early evening DC:  Rally to Prevent Suicide, 5:15-7, Library of Congress Madison Building, 101 Independence Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003. More than two-thirds of gun deaths are by suicide. We need to do more to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of keeping guns away from people in crisis who are a danger to themselves. Join Maryland, Virginia and DC Moms supporters to show up for the Rally to Prevent Suicide in support of the National Council for Suicide Prevention and other organizations. We’re meeting 15 minutes before the start of the rally — look for our red Moms shirts & wear your own or another red shirt if you can.
